School Premises

Music Wing

Music is a tremendously important part of The Baptist School. We offer music classes from Kindergarten onward. Elementary students can join the school band from Grade Five. Music program was established by Ms. Barbara Johnson who's been a valuable member of The Baptist School family for 30+ years.

We recognize that our students have a wide range of abilities and musical interests, so our music program is designed to allow students to explore and develop their potential to the max.

Playgrounds

Students' playtime activities are beneficial not just for their own enjoyment and physical health but also to encourage them to develop independence, social skills and the ability to learn to handle risks for themselves. Various matches are held during recess, under the supervision of the P.E. teacher.

Playground supervision is critical in keeping all kids safe. Our teachers rotate shifts and work hard to maintain peace among students and reduce injuries/accidents.

Drama

Drama at The Baptist School has many awesome objectives. Our drama is mainly designed to teach students how to stand up confidently on stage, in front of an audience and act and sing in both Arabic and English. Students will learn acting techniques and how to work together in a group, think critically, have confidence and elevate their social skills.

Science Laboratories

Experimentation is the best way to learn all about science. At ABS science labs, we are committed to getting children to think critically, predict results of data collection, satisfy curious minds that are always trying to investigate the world around them, all in a well-rounded education.

Computer Labs

The Amman Baptist School's computer laboratories are an extension of the classroom. Students practice skills that they are learning in class using the 21st century technology.

Our school's objective is to always stay up-to-date with the international developments in new methods/materials for teaching.

Classrooms

Most of our classrooms are fully equipped with state-of-the-art learning technologies that bring education to a new level. We want to give our beloved students new ways of learning that are productive, enjoyable and effective.

Canteen

The Baptist School is always seeking to offer healthy meals and snacks to our precious children. Their physical health and well-being is as important to us as all other facets of what bringing up the next generation of leaders requires.

The current system allows children from Grades 1-12 to buy -at reasonable prices- hot and cold sandwiches, salads, soups, pastries, cakes and cookies all made from scratch at our kitchens. Unhealthy foods aren't sold nor allowed in lunch boxes from home, either. The only drinks the school canteen sells are: water, milk (flavored or plain) and fruit juices.

School Clinic

At our school-based health clinic parents will be glad to know that the school employs a General Practitioner or Pediatrician and a nurse. They provide: first aid, case management for chronic illnesses (Diabetes, Epilepsy, Allergies, Asthma ... etc.), contagious diseases, supervision of administering vaccinations ordered by The Ministries of Health and Education.

Our clinic annually hosts a dentist who examine all of our students' teeth. A paper stating any findings or recommendations is sent with the child.

For the LORD gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. Proverbs 2:6

Libraries

The Baptist School libraries are an integral part of the busy daily life of every student.

There are 3 libraries at The Baptist School, encompassing more than 10 thousand books in Arabic, English and French that are suitable for each age group. From children's books to full-text research, our libraries provide an extensive range of resources.

Students, teachers, administrators, workers and parents alike are all welcomed to borrow books. This stems out of the school's belief in the importance of good library to inspire students to seek higher knowledge.

Our library is a true treasure of knowledge.
